Light Lady

April a.k.a Light Lady hails from the beautiful state of Tennessee, her childhood home is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. She was surrounded by music from the early stages of childhood. Most of it being some down home bluegrass picking on the front porch of the little store by her mamaw's home, but all of it steeped in southern tradition. April sang with her cousins in the family band at the tender age of 6 and won many contest and trophies in the Little Miss Southern Belle contest in her home state. April gave up singing when she realized that her true talents lay elsewhere.

April has been with Iron Horse since the very beginning, doing all the little things to help them out. April's official title with Iron Horse is Production Manager. In the early stages her main job was administrative, she developed their website and a strong web based presences. When the band started to play venues she taught herself to run the lighting and sound system. Her light shows are frequently the topic of many conversations. April also does the bands photography and video recording of their live shows.

You can find April at the show behind the light board, doing her thing; she prides herself on bringing the show and each individual song to life through the colors of her lights.
